This Privacy Policy explains how Nexus Logic (Pty) Ltd ("Nexus Logic", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses, shares and protects personal information on nexuslogic.co.za, including information about Nexus Logic Agents ("NLAs"). It is issued in terms of the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 ("POPIA").
Each Nexus Logic product (such as Service Sense) has its own privacy policy on its own website, covering the customers of that product.

When a business signs up for a Nexus Logic product using an NLA's code, the product shares the business name, the package, the number of locations or units where relevant, and the subscription status with us, so that commission can be calculated. We do not receive the product's customer feedback, end-user data or payment card details.

We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing that have legal or similarly significant effects on you. Applications are reviewed by our directors.

Our database is hosted in Ireland, within the European Union, and some service providers may process information in other countries. We only transfer personal information outside South Africa as permitted by section 72 of POPIA. Information hosted in the EU is protected by the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

We may keep information longer where needed to resolve a dispute or defend a legal claim, and we will restrict its use during that time.
If we have reasonable grounds to believe that personal information has been accessed or acquired by an unauthorised person, we will notify the Information Regulator and the people affected, as required by section 22 of POPIA.
We only send marketing with your consent, or to existing NLAs about similar opportunities as permitted by section 69 of POPIA. Every marketing message includes a free way to unsubscribe. Account, commission and security messages are not marketing.
Under POPIA you may ask whether we hold personal information about you and request a copy of it, ask us to correct or delete it, object to its processing, object to direct marketing, withdraw consent you have given, and lodge a complaint with the Information Regulator.
To make a request, email info@nexuslogic.co.za, marked "Attention: Information Officer". We may need to confirm your identity first. Requests for access to records may also be made under our PAIA Manual. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Information Regulator (South Africa) at inforegulator.org.za.
We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page. If we make a material change, we will notify NLAs by email or in their dashboard before it takes effect.
